This classic mid century house had a great site and living areas, but the bedrooms were small, dark and didn't have nice bathrooms. The client wanted a house with two guest suites so guests would be more comfortable, have privacy and enjoy their stay. We designed a solution that kept the best parts of the house intact and remodeled the back of the house, keeping within the walls of the existing house, except for enlarging the garage to allow more space for the bedrooms.
